Finance Committee
Parish Info
The Parish Finance Committee is an advisory group of parishioners, selected by the pastor, to provide the pastor and Parish Pastoral Council (PPC) with assistance in overseeing the finances of the parish. The finance committee’s primary responsibility is to review the annual, year-end parish budget to actual report and then to consult with and provide advice to the pastor in setting the parish budget for the upcoming year. They also take part in counting the regular collection of the parish.
The Parish Finance Committee chairperson assists the pastor in monitoring budget to actual expenditures, and represents the committee on the PPC. The finance committee chairperson attends PPC meetings to present the annual budget, and budget to actual reports for PPC input, advice and implementation as per their parish goals and priorities.
