The Catholic Women's League of Canada is a group of Catholic women aged 16 and older committed to serving others.
We meet the third Monday of each month at the church. We begin our meetings with Mass or by praying the Rosary together at 5:30 p.m. We then share a meal together to grow in communion with one another. Generally we have a 20 minute spiritual or educational program followed by a brief business meeting.
These are some of the ministries we are involved in: we become Prayer sisters, and also adopt a seminarian and a local teacher each to pray for, we have a scholarship program, we give a monthly group donation to worthy causes, we host spring and fall Teas and plant sale, we have power in numbers for political lobbying, we cater funeral lunches, run the gift shop in the church, members volunteer in all aspects of the parish and school, and we knit and distribute prayer shawls to offer spiritual comfort to those in need of it.
Our Membership drive is in October/November and so we invite all Catholic women to join
